Freedom

I have recently been cut off by my father. Today my brother is coming to take my car. I don’t have any money for tuition next semester. I won’t have another car for a very long time. But I am happy. I am free now. I am with the man I love and I know no matter what he will take care of me. Life is just beginning for me.

  1. This is not Freedom! You are still dependent on someone else to take care of you!

  2. If we got rid of all the people we depend on we’d be driving our own cabs. What’s important is to get rid of the negative influences. If that means a parent or two, or a car, then leaving them behind — or forcing them to confront their negative actions, and maybe understand the need to change — will leave you healthier in the long run.
